The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met in

regular session at the - office of said Board Monday November 3rd , itg
1924, at 9 o' clock A. P.I. All the members of! said Board Messrs,
•
Land, McFall and Henley being present. The following proceedings -
were had , to-wit : - _

The Board issued Contractors certificate No. 6 , to John F. Hipskind
contractor under Improvement. :Lesoluti.o.n No. 721-1924, for the im-
provement of South 21st Street, from Reeveston Road to South "ET1
Street, in the sum of $5640 .644 being 85% of cost of work done.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll of be ne fi te. and dama.geE
in the natter •of opening the alley 1st east of Northwest 5th Street
from Linden Avenue to Maple Street, under Declaratory Resolution
No. 179-1924, and fix December 4th , 1924 , 9 o' cbck A.M. as a date
and time for hearing of remonstrances agai nst said assessments and •
award -of damages.
Pursuant to notice given to the inhabitants of the City of Richmond ,
Indiana, The Board of Publ is Works met to hear remonstrances or
objections against the Contract ark Agreement presented by The F.&
N. Lawn Mower Company of Deleware , doi ng business in- the City of
Richmond, Indiana, for permission to erect , install and maintain an
extra swi tch track in and across Washington Avenue at their plant
in said. City (here insert ) as filed with the said Board on Thursday
October 16th , 1924, on which date said Board fixed Monday November
3rd , 1924, at 10 o' clock A.M. asfr date and time at which said. con-
tract & agreement will be fi nally cons id ered publically 'at the of-
fi ce of said Board, and upon said contract & agreement being pub-
lished and notices postedas by law provi ded, by said. The F. &I N.
Lawn Mower Company.
The Board met to hear remonstrances or objections against said
contract & agreement as aforesaid . No, remonstrance having been
file d and no objections having been entered against said contract
• and agreement. Proof of publication of said contract 8c agreement
and hearing in the Richmond Palladium and Richmond Item, and the
affidavit si gned by Gath' P. Freeman, that noti ces had been posted
in 104 public places- in said City . The Boaxt unanimously approved
said Contract & Agreement, subject to the ratification of the•
same by the Common Council and approval of the Mayor of said City ,
and novv direct an ordinance be prepared and present to the COm-
mon Council for their consideration and rati fi cation.
The' Street Commissioner, was instructed to tap the • sewer for Geo .
Sauer at his property Southeast corner of North 20th & "C" Street .
