The Board of Publ is Works of the City of Richmond , Indi ana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday Octobe r
30th , 1924, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs,
Land , McFall and Henley being pr esent. The followii proceedings
were had , to -wit : - _

The Board approved agreement as of date of October 17th, 1924,
signed by Nimrod H. Johnson Vice Prest . of the Richmond Light ,
Heat & Power Company. That whereas, it is desired to construct
a cement curb & gutter along- the south side of Johnson Street,
from North 2nd Stre et to the west terminal. of Johnson. Street, by
the City of Richmond , Indiana , the said Richmond Light , Heat &:
Power Company agree to pay to the said. City of Richmond , upon
the completion of said - work the sum of 500.00 toward sa ch work.
The Board granted permission to 'Mrs . Robt. C. Thompson to cut the
curb at 304 South 23rd Street, for private driveway.
Dedication of a 15 foot alley being a strip of ground between
Lots No. 3, 4, 5 & 2, in the Holoapfel Addition to the City of
Richmond , Indiana, from Northwest 7th Street to the alley between
.Northwest 6th & 7th Street , was received and referred to the City
Planning Commission for their approval.
The matter of the purchase of Lung--Motor was referred to the Sup' t.
of M.E.L. &x; P.P. and• Sup't. , of :Police for. investigation and report
back to the Board .
The Board held conference wi th Richmond City Water Works officials,
in matter of bursti ng of water main during Ear lham College Fire ,
the question was left to the Fire Chief and Sup' t. Dill of dater
Works for further investi gat ion and report .
The Clerk was directed to assess back lying lots to a width of
apprx. 125 feet under Resolution No. 745-1924, for cementing alley
1st west of Sheridan Street from John to Sherman Street .
The Board then adjourned ,
