The Board of Public ',forks of the City of itichmond , Indiana , met in regular session at the offoce of said Board Monday September 29th, " 1924 , at 9 o' clock A. H. All the members of said Board Messrs , Land , McFail and Henley being present , the following proceedings were had, to-wit : - .i . The Board grant permission to Community Service to: use North "A" Street between North 12 th. L 13th Streets , for roller skating every Friday Tyigbf so long as there is no complaints made or until further notice from the Board . The Board direct the ;lichmond City .Water Works , to move the fire hy- drant at North 2nd & Johnson `Streets , under the supervision of the Fire Chief, E. E. Miller. X petition was received from a. C.Underhill , , requesting gas main be laid be$ween the ,gulter and sidewalk on west side of North 19th St , north of railroad bridge , •Clerk is directed to notify Gas Company to lay said main. Permission was granted J. F. iiipskind to construct sidewalks on SW, "B" Street , poviding the same is done according to specifications covering his contract & as directed by City Civil Engineer, 'to be done in workmanlike manner & subject to the acceptance of the Board - of Public ',lorks , as of date of Sep. 25 , 1924. • • Invoice for repairs to a Star Touring Car , damaged, by employe of City in Glen Park, from Central Auto iiepair Shop in amount of N55.4C , referred to Sul` t of Parks for more information and release from owner of car . The Board resumed hearing under Improvement ilesoluti on No. 7/_'_9--1924 ' for improvement of alley between SW.4th & 5th Street, by cement roadw; - from SW. "D" Street -north to alley 1st south of. jAational road;thence east to SW,4th Street. After hearing all persons interested vh.o. ap- peared and carefully considering a remonstrance filed by 6 resident owners out of 13 resident owners and other property owners, the Board continued hearing on said resolutionxUm± until the 1st Mon- day in March or March 2nd , 1925. The Street Commissioner was directed to place cinders in 1st alley - south of National Load from 4th. Street to alley west and thence south "C" Street , and 1eve1_ -Southwest "C" Street , from 4th Street west to 5th Street . i . . Permission. was granted Duke Carter to cut curb at 300 S . jth Street . The Clerk was directed to revue t T.H. I.&c E. Trac. Uo. , to raise their rails 'on Main Street bridge at the depression near east end. The City Attorney presented the report of Public Service Commission on the appraisal & auditdl made of iiichmond City Water ivorks by its accountants together with 'his analysis of the same.
