The Board of Public-riorks of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday September, 22nd 1924, at 9 o' clock A. M. A11 •the members of said Board , Messrs , Land, Mc ail and Henley being present . The following proceedings - were had , to-wit : - I The Board received letter from Municipal Traffic Post Co. , stating the wiring of posts in this city is under the Ohio Code and is -covered with pitch End asphalt making it weather proof, assuring the Board if the same causes any trouble they Till make it right. The Board issue contractors certificate to Jhon F. Hipskind in sum _ of ti 6054. 78 under Improvement '1Lesolut i on No. 74 3-1924. Permission was granted Mrs. Amelia Ma,hneyer to cut curb on east side of South 20th Street Lots l663 169` ileeveston addition. - Permission we s granted Robt . B. Juerling to cut curb at 654 South "G' Street . . - The Board approved primary assessment roll under Resolution Board of lrorks 1923, for Light posts in heeveston_ road, from South 16th to 23rd Street , South 17th, 18th , 19th, Cth L. 21st Streets , from heeveston ,load to South "B" Street, as revised. The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improvement 1,eco- luti.on No. 71`.-1924 , for improvement of Guest 5th Street, by paving - with 55heet Asphalt from National Road to Richmond Avenue. The Board approved primary assessment roll of benefits 8a damages under Declaratory Resolution No. 178-1924 , for the widening of the alley between South 16th & 17th Street from South "A" Street, north to the first alley south of I,lain Street. The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 673-1923, for improvement of the alley between North 'f :" & !TF" Street , by constructing sani- tary sewer and cement roadway therein from North 23rd to 24th Street . ,No one appearing or remontrating, the Board approved a final acsess- ment roll , confirming the primary assessment roll as heretofore ap- proved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance . The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily assessed under Improvement "esolut; on No. 728-1924, for improvement of east side of 'pest 3rd Sr. Beet by constructing cement sidewalk ;gin cast side of street , from Ri.nsey Street to National. Road. No one ep- rearing or remonstrating, the - oard approved a final assessment roll confirming the priginal arse:>smert roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily as- sessed under Improvement i.esoluti on No . 7 2-1924, . for constructing cement roadway in alley bet .N. 17th i, 18th St. from II. "C" to "Be St. No remonstrance having been filed, the Board approved a final assess- ment roll confirming the on ginal assessment roll heretofore approved and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Dept. of Finance . 1 42 L'Monday September 22nd , 1924. The Board met to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons primarily assessed under Improvement lesoluti on No. 738--1924 , ..for constructing cement road ay 'in. the alley between North 19th0&; 20th street , from North "C" to "D" Street. Na one remonstrating, the Board approved a 'final assessment roll confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forth- with to the Department of Finance . The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily assessed under Improvement -Resolution No. 739-1924; for •construct- .ing cement roadv-ay in the alley between South 5th & 6th Street ,from rr " " " South t, �+�o D Street . No remontr.a.nce having been filed. The Board approved a final assessment roll, confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the yepartment of Ninanee . The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons pr. imarily assessed under Improvement resolution. No.74C31-924 , for the construct- ' ion of cement roadway in the alley between South l5th & 14th Street from South "A" to "B" Street, No remonstrance having been fiied , the Board approved a final assessment roll; confirming the original as- sessment roll as heretofore ,approved, .and now direct the same be •transmitted forthwith to the JJepartment ofFinance. - • • The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily - assessed under Improvement 1lesoluti on No.744--1924, for constructing cement roadway in the alley between North "F ' Street &; Glen Ave . from North 21st to 22nd Street . No one remonstrating, the Board ap- proved a final assessment roll , confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and nor direct the same be transmitted . forthwith to the .'epartment_of Pinanc;e . The Board directed the Building inspector, to grant moving permit to W. McKee to move a garage from ';pater Works Pump house to 431 Lincoln Street , and specify -the, route to be taken. _ :The Clerk was directed to notify the Municipal Traffic Post Co. . that the post at the avenue &; iLailroad, had been run into and shoved to _ one side, also , of a loose panel in the post at 'North 7th Street and the Avenue . Claims in amount of '4i4880.50 were allowed & ordered paid.
