Monday September 8th ,1924.
The Board of Public: Works of the city of Richmond. , Indiana , met in
regular session at the office of sad Board Monday September 8th ,
1924, at 9 o clock A. M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Land,
NePa.i 1 and Henley bei ng pr esent . The fo 1l.owing proceedi ngs were
had, to-wit :
The Board granted pe rrmission to the McConaha Realty Corporation, to
cut the curbs in South 4th ��, 5th Streets , -adjoining their property
Lots No' s. 10 & 11 J. Smith ' s , Addition.

The Boa rd.Jto hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily as-
sessed under_ Improvement Resolution No. 700-1924. for construction _
of cement sidewalk 6' wide on- south side of litrth;' D"1.Street., from_
North 20th to 22nd Street.. No one appearing or remonstrating , the -
Board approved a final assessment roll , confi riming the original -
assessment ro11 as heretofore approved , and now direct the same be
transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance .
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily
assessed under Improvement 'Resolution No. 730-1924. far constructing
- Cement roadway in 1st alley west of North 10th Street, from North
"I" Street north to the alley , after hearing_ all persons interested
who appeared. The Board approved a final assessment roll confirming
the original assessment roll heretofore app roved, and nov- directed
the same he transmitted f_ or thwi th to the Depart ment of Finance .
The Board met to hear .remonstrances if any_, of persons primari ly as-
sessed under Improvement Resolution No. 731-1924. for paving North
19th Street with Sheet Asphalt , from North "C" to "E" Street. No
remonstrance having been. fi led.- The Board approved the final assess •

ment ro11 confirming in all things the original assessment roll as
heretofore approved, and now direct the same be t nsmitted forth-•
wi th to the Department of Finance.

sessed under Improvement Resolution No. 736-1924 , for paving North
19th Street with Sheet Asphalt , from Main to North "C" Street . No
remonstrance having been fi led. The Board- approved a final assess-
ment ro11 confirming in all things the original assessment roll as
heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forth-
wi th to the Department of Finance.
The Clerk notif ied the Board he had received noti ce from the Public
Service Commission of Indiana, that the hearing on artifici al gas
rate was set for--September 17th , 1924.
The Board. directed D.C.Hess Sup't . to install two electric and lights
in North 19th Street cj=dtth: ijf aaiLac oad•
The Board granted permission to Wayne County Fair, to close Sputh
"A" Street from South 22nd to 23rd Street, al so , South 23rd Street
in so much of said street as is wi thin the corporate limits of the
city, during the fair of 1924.

Monday Sept embe r 8th , 1924.
The Board approved plat of. 89 town lots No. 1 to 89 inclusive ,as
laid. out by.Lydia Bell, Streets and corporation strip dedicated
to public use , to be known as -"BelliMor" , Addition, located just
east of the City on north side of National Load .
The Board an-proved a Le-plat of Howells , Sub-Divi sion, Tots 1 to.
5, located on south side of Southwest "A" Street and east sid. e' of
outhwest 8th street.

The Board deci de that in the future , wherever Sewer taps , water
and gi, s servi ces are to be laid, where the street is . n ,de , all
such services shall be lai d in the same trench, whenever possible
to do so , in order to save and maintain said street .
The Board approved Bond in penal sum of 2148 .00, of the Irvin C .
BeHaven Engineering Co. , for the furnishing of Cochrane Feed Water
Heater for Municipal Electric Lighti ng & _Power Plant.
