M. All the members of said Board Messrs , Land, Mcr'ai l and Henley being present . The fo llowi ng proceedings were had , • to -wit : - The Board a-prove d primary assessment roll under the following .Im-- pro ve ment 1Le so luti o ns, to-wit : - • Improvement Resolution No. 673-1925, for sewer aixi cement roadway in alley between North "E" & "F" Street,from North. 23rd to 24th St. Improvement Resolution No. 732-1924, for cement roadway in alley be- tween North 17th & 18th Street, from North. "0" to "E" Street. Improvement Resolution No. 738 -1924, for cement roadway in alley be - tween North 19th & 20th St , from North "C", to "D" Street. Improvement Resolution No. 740-1924, for cement roadway in alley be- tween south 13th & 14th Street , from South "A" to "B" Street . Improvement Resolutio n No. 744-1924, for cement roadway in alley be - tween North "F" St. & Glen Ave , from North 21st to 22nd Str eet . The City Civil Engineer , reported the completion of contracts under Improve ment Re solutions named, to -wit : - Improvement resolution No. 707-1924, for improvement of North "E" Street, by constructing cement curb , gutter, sidewalk and wing the roadway wi th Asphalt , from North 16th to 24th Street , which was • accepted & assessment roll ordered prepared. Improvement Resolution No. 724--1924 , for - improvement of North 13th _ Street, from P.C .C.& St.L.R.R. to North "F" Stre et, by constructing cement curb., gutter, sidewalks and Is.wing the roadway with brick, which was accepted & assessment roll ordered prepared. Improvement Resolution No. 728-1924. for constructing cement sidewalk on east side of West 3rd Street, from Kinsey Street to the National Road , which was accepted and primary assessment ro 11 approved . Improvement Resolution No. 739-1924, for constructing cement roadway in alley between South 5th & 6th Street, from South "C" to "D" Street which was accepted & primary assessment roll approved . The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 750 -1924, t o improve the 1st alley south of Main Street from South 4th to 5th Street, and also approved &. si fined agreement wi th Walter McConaha, to pe rmit him to let the wo rk out at pri va to contract , at his expense and to save the ci ty harmless in the pr emises by rtue of the man- ner -in which said contract may be me.de and said all ey constructed. It is further understood 8: agreed that all of the said work shall be done under the supervision and subject to the inspection of the City Civil Engineer of Richmond , Indiana. A petition was received Si gned by Atlas Underwear Co. per A. J. Harwood-, praying that Elm Place be vacated from North 10th Street east to the alley , referred to Engi neer for plans , etc . A petition was received signed by Albert Kaiser et-al , prayi ng for the opening of an alley between Northwest 5th Street 8: the G.R.& I. hy. from Linden Ave . to Maple Stre et, referred to Engi neer for plans. , etc . , The Board. received Demurrage bills from Southeastern Demurrage 8. Storage Bureau , referred' to City Attorney. Thursday September 4th , 1924. 35 • The Board approve contract with The Refiners Oil Co. , for Gasoline and Kerosene , for the year. Aug. 8th 1924, to Lug . 8th , 1925. • The Board received report of inspection of Tourist Camp,- in Glen Miller Park, Survey ma.de by the Nater & Sewage Department of Indiana State Board of Health, stating the survey made showed the camp to be operated under the Rules & Regulatio ns for Tourist Cam-ps, in a very sanitary condition. The Board received bids for• Lamp Posts etc . , to be installed in South 18th & 21st Streetsi from the £eeve ston Road to South "E" Street as follows , to-wit : - -" Varney Electrical Supply Co.
