INDUSTRIAL DRIVE SOUTH FROM R-1, LOW DENSITY SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO 1~1, OFFICE, RESEARCH, AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, IN THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, Jahn J. and Anita L. Green have requested rezoning from R-1, Low Density Single-Family Residential District, to I-1, Office, Research, and Light Industrial District, and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has made the following findings based upon the evidence presented to it: A. The amendment promotes the public health, safety, comfort, convenience and general welfare, and complies with the policies and official land use plan and other official plans of the Village. B. The trend of development in the area of the subject property is consistent with the requested amendment. C. The requested zoning classification permits uses which are more suitable than the uses permitted under the existing zoning classification. D. The property cannot yield a reasonable use if permitted only under the conditions allowed under the existing zoning classification. E. The amendment, if granted, will not alter the essential character of the neighborhood and will not be a substantial detriment to adjacent property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby adopt the findings of the Ptan Commission. The petition requesting a rezoning from R-1, Low Density Single-Family Residential District, to 1~1, Office, Research, and Light Industrial District, as to the real estate hereinafter described is hereby granted. Territory Described. LOT I-27 IN WOLF CREEK INDUSTRIAL PHASE III STERLING ESTATES, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER AND NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 37, RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED NOVEMBER 13, 1990 AS DOCUMENT NUMBER R90-62984 IN WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Section 2. There is hereby granted a rezoning of the territory from RW1, Low Density Single-Family Residential District, to I-1, Office, Research, and Light Industrial District. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law. PASSED THIS 18~" DAY OF MAY, 2009.
