The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met .
in regular session at the om ce of said Board Monday July 28th ,
1924 , at 9 o' clock A. M. Messrs , TvIc ail and Henley being present ,
. Absent , Mr. Land. Two members of said Board being present. The fol-
lowing proceedings •were had_ , to -wit : -
The Board granted remission to E. A. Fulle , to cut the curb for
driveway in Liberty Avenue , at Schrage & Lammerts Sub- Div. ,
The Board received communication from E. M. Haas , recommending that
the City improve the roads in Glen Miller' Park, by constructing
preferably tarvia roads , and requesting these roads be improved
by bond issue if necessary , which bond issue is approved by Messrs,
J. H. Nicholson, V/rn. F. Bockhoff- Fred. J:i_ Bartel , m. H., homey,
B.E.Eggemeyer, F.H.Haner, H.A.Di11, M. W.Kelley , W.W.lieller and
. - John F. Bartel . The Board. deferred any action in the matter until
a meeting of all, members of said Board .
- The City Civil Engi neer reported the completi on of improvement
under Improvement -,e so luti a n No. 711-1924 , f or conce re to roadway,
• cement curb, gutter and sidewalks in North "A" Street, from Borth
3rd 'treet to fit-giayne Ave . the same was accepted and assessment
ro11 ordered.
The City Civil Engi neer reported the completi on of contract under
Improvement i•esoluti c n No. 733-1924, for cement roadway- in 1st
alley south of LJational itoad from SW. 2nd to 3rd Street and the al-
ley between SW. & 3rd Street from 1st alley south of LVational
Road to Southwest "C" Str eet.
Claims in amount of ,, 14:., 624 . 69 were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board then adjourned,
