Kendall Counties, Illinois, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and
correct copy of Ordinance No. 2870, designating the property commonly known as
24103 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield, IL PIN#06-03-16-209-007-0000 as a Historic
Landmark in the Village of Plainfield.

ORDINANCE NO. 2870
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE STRUCTURE COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS
24103 W. LOCKPORT STREET AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK IN THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
I. That pursuant to Section 9-147(7) of Chapter 9 of the Plainfield Code, the
following findings of the Village of Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission were made
as to the structure described in paragraph II:
(a) Has character, interest, or value which is part of the development,
heritage, or cultural character of the community, county, state, or nation.
(f) embodies elements of design, materials, or craftsmanship that are of
architectural significance;
(g) Embodies design elements that make it structurally or architecturally
innovative;
(h) Has a unique location or physical characteristics that make it a familiar
visual feature of the community;
(j) Is suitable for preservation or restoration;
(k) Is included in the Illinois or National Register of Historic Places.
II. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield hereby
adopt the findings of the Plainfield Historic Preservation Commission and the structure
commonly known as 24103 W. Lockport Street is hereby designated as a Historic
Landmark, as to the real estate described in Exhibit "A"which is attached hereto and made
apart hereof.
III. This Ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and approval as
provided by law.

Lots 1, 2 and 3 in T.C. Hoag's Subdivision of part of Block 3 in the original Town of
Plainfield, according to the plat of said Subdivision, recorded in the Recorder's Office, in
Plat Book 1 (part 1), page 25, in Section 16, Township 36 North, Range 9 east, in Will
County, Illinois including grantor's interest in the vacated alley adjoining said premises on
the south.
