The Greencastle Common Council met in Executive Session, I.C. 5- 14- 1.5- 6.1(b)2(B) Pending
Litigation, Tuesday, May 25, 1999, 6:00 p.m. at the Putnam County Library. Mayor Michael
called the meeting to Order. On the Roll Call, the following were found to be present: Councilor
Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Green, Councilor Baynard and Councilor Masten. Also
present was: City Attorney Laurie Robertson and Attorney Robert Perry.
This meeting was held to discuss the pending litigation Carol Deom vs. City of Greencastle,
Indiana; Nancy A. Michael, in her individual capacity, Darrin J. Cos, in his individual capacity;
and Charles Wood, in his individual capacity.
Attornev Laurie Robertson reported on the status of two pending case captioned: Brian Bandy, a
® minor by his parent and legal guardian, Lisa R. DeLong Plaintiff, vs. Officer Carrie Webber,
Plainfield Indiana Police Department, Trooper Daryl Jones, Indiana State Police Department,
Greencastle Indiana Police Department, Deputy Mark Frisbie, Putnam County Sheriffs
Department, Officer Harold Gibson, Brownsburg Indiana Police Department, Deputy Prosecutor
Robert Freese, Hendrick's County Indiana Prosecutor's Office, Defendants and Louis Lawson,
Plaintiff, vs. Officer Carrie Webber, Plainfield Indiana Police Department, Trooper Daryl Jones,
Indiana State Police Department, Officer Scott Fitzsimmons, Greencastle Indiana Police
Department, Deputy Mark Frisbie, Putnam County Indiana Sheriffs Department, Officer Harold
Gibson, Brownsburg Indiana Police Department, Deputy Prosecutor Robert Freese, Hendricks
County Indiana Prosecutor's Office, Defendants.
Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Masten, seconded by Councilor Hammer. Vote was
unanimous.
No other subject matter was discussed at this meeting.
