Monday June 2nd, 1924.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met
in regular session at the office of said Board , Monday June 2nd ,
1924, at 9 o' clock A. M. Messrs , Henley and Mcl'ai 1 be ing present .
Absent , Mr. Land. Two members of said. Board being present . The
following proceedings were had , to -wit :
The City Civil Engineer, reported that in matter of remonstrance
filed against the improvement of the alley between West Main and
Southwest 'LA" Street , by cement roadway. from 7th to 8th Stre.et,under
Improvement Resolution No. 735-1924. that there are 13 resident
owners of property residing along the improvement , 6 of whom have
signed the remonstrance, this be ing less than a majority of resi-
dent owners , the Board continued action on said resolution until
making an inve sti gatio n as to. the needs of this improvement , and
continued hearing on same to Monday June 16th, 192'4, 9 A. M.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 744-1924,
for the improvement of the alley between North "F" Street & Glen
- Ave . ,by cement roadway from North 21st to 22nd Street.

The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 745-1924
for the improvement of the 1st alley west of Sheridan Street, by -
cement roadway from John to Sherman Street. •
The Board. approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement
Resolution No. 60'7-192.3, for sanitary sewer in alley between South
10th & 11th Street , from South "I" to "J" Street.
The Board approved a primary assessment roll under Improvement peso-
lution No. 718-1924, for improvement of first alley north of Main
Street by constructing a cement roadway from North 16th to 17th
Street.
Whereas, two members of the Board of Public Works. will be out of
the City, Thursday June 5th , 1924, all hearings set for June 5th,
were continued to June 9th , 1924,

The Board then adjourned, to June 9 ,1924.
