in regular session at the office of said Board: Thursday? April 24th,
1924, at 9 o clock A. T':i. Messrs , Lilyd and Hen 1e T pre ent ; L bsent
Mr. ,ic 'ail. Two membe rs of said Board being present . The following
proceedings were had. , to -wit : -- -
The Board met to hear all persons interested in, or whose prop erty
is •affected by the improvement of Boyer Street , bar constructing
cement curb , gutter & sidewalk and grading and pay ing the roadway
th gravel & m�tcad€.m, from School to Stevens Street , under Improve-
merit .resolution No. 726-1024. r majority remonstrance having- been
filed agai nst said improvement . The Board on motion rescinded said
re solution.
The Board. met to hear remonstrances if any of persons interested
in, or whose propertyT is aff ected under improvement Nesolution No.
727 -192 4, for the improvement of North 19th Street, by construct-
ing cement curb && gutter in said street from railroad bri dge • to
North "TGT" Street , and paving said street wi th one of the following
kinds of pavements , to-wit : - Brick, Concre to , Sheet sphalt or
hoer-A.spha It , from North 'TE" to ''G" Street. No one appearing or
remonstrati ng , the Beard being duly advi sed in the premises, decides
that the bene fits to the property liable to be assessed for said
improvements are equal to the uo st of same as reported by the City
Civil Engineer; less the amount the City will pay on said improve-
ment . ( The City agreei ng to pay the cost of the street & alley in-
terin-
tersections and 102; of the cost of the roadway. ) The Board_ there-

firmed wi th out raodi fi'cat ion •
The Board. met to hear remonstrances - if any, of persons interested
in, or whose property is affected under Improvement hes°luti on No.
726-1924 , for the improvement of blest 2rd Street , by constructing
a cement sidewalk 6 ' wi de on east side of street, from -i=insey' to
National Noad. No remonstrance having been fi l_e d against said i-
m-
provemerit , the Board being duly advi sec' in the premi. es deci d es
that the benefi-ts to property liable to be assessed- for said im-
provement are equal to the cost of same as reported by the l ity
Civil Engineer , and thereupon take final action on said resolution•
the same being co nfi rme d wi th out modi fi catio n. .
The Board met to hear remonstrances if (- ny, • of persons i me rested
in, or ahose property is affected under improvement tesolution No.
729-1924 , for the improvement of the all ey between South l?_th �.
12th Street , by constructing a cement roadway the full width there-
of from South T1K'T to TTB„ Str eet, a remonstrance having been fi led
agai.nst said improvement , signed by7 r.e Si dent prep erty owners
the engineer report; there are 21 resi dent prop erty owners along
the line of said improvement . The Board overrules the remonstrance
fi led, and bei ng duly advised in the premises, decides that the
benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement
are equal to the cost of same , as reported by the ci ty engineer, and
thereupon takes final action on said resolution, the same being
confirmed vi th out modification.
Upon recommendati on from Comore Council , the Board direct the Clerk
to re-advertise for bids under Improvement s.-,esolui on No. 712-1924
for the impr. over:ent of Sherman 8,, _butler streets,

The Board unanimously adop ted Improvement iesolution No. 732-1.924 ,
for the improvement of the alley between North 17th &: 18th Street
by constructing a cement road. ay , from North "C" to "E" Street.

The Board unanimously adopted Improvement =•esoluti on No. 733-1924,
by construction of cement road.ay in the alley 1st -south of Nation-
al i:oad , from Southwest 2nd to 3rd Street; and the alb ey between
southwest 2nd 3rd Street , from 1st all ey south of National Road
i•o Southwest "C " Street
