A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE
GETSON A VENUE AND US R TE 3 ~ INTERSECTION
IN THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is a member of the Will County
Governmental League Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Wi11 County Governmental League requires a "local match"
resolution of all project sponsors according to its Surface Transportation Program (STP)
Implementation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield's GETSONAVENUE AND CIS RTE 30 will
be considered by the Will County Governmental League; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is capable, willing and able to fund the
required local match (20% of the total Phase II Engineering and Construction costs)
during the programmed year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield, Will County,
Illinois do hereby authorize the expenditure of funds from the Village of Plaintield's
GENERAL FUND for the GETSONAVENUE AND US RTE 30 to be funded through the
Will County Governmental League Surface Transportation Program.
PASSED this 9th day of January, 2006 with 6 members voting aye, 0 members voting
nay, the President not voting, and with no members absent, said vote being:
6 yes, 0 no, 0 absent.
Ayes: Racich, Dement, Fay, Lamb, Manning, Collins.
Nays: 0
APPROVED this 9th day of January, 2006.
