M. Messrs , McFai 1 and Henley present . Mr. land: , absent . Two members of said Board being present . The following proceedings were had , to -wit.: - . The Board met to hear all persons interested or whose prop erty is affected by Improvement Reso lutio n No. 700-1924, for the con- struction of cement sidewalk 6 ' wide on south side of North"D" Street, from North 20th to 22nd Street. After hearing all persons interested who appeared and . being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be 'as- sessed for said improvements are equal to the cost as reported by the City . Civil Engi neer, and thereupon take final action on . said. resolution, the same being . confirmed wi th out modif ca tion. The Board met to hear all persons interested in or whose property is affected by Improvement Resolution No.708-1924, for the con- st 'uc tlo n of ce ment sid ewalks 6' wide on both sides of North 19th Street, from Main to North "A" Street . After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised in the premises, the Board • decides that the benefits to the property llathle to-be assessed for said improvements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the city civil engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution, the same bei ng co nfirme d without modi- fication.• • The Board met to hear all persons interested in, or whose property . is affected by Improvement Resolution lie. 713-1924, for the improve- ment of Sherman and Butler. Streets, by grading and graveling -the roadways & constructing cement_ curb & gutter on both sides of said streets with graveled. sidewalks , She rman Street, f room Sheridan to Butler Stre et and Butler Street from Sherman to south terminous • of Butler Street: After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advi sed in the presmises, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for` said im- provements are equal to the estimated cost thereof as reported by the city civil engineer and thereupon take final action on said resolution, the same being confirmed without modificatio n. The Board met to hear all persons interested in or whose property is affected by Improvement Resolution No. 714•-1924, to construct cement sidewalk, curb & gutter on west side of Southwest 1st Street in front of vacated Howard Street. after hearing all persons inter • - ested who appeared and being fully advised in, the premises, the Board decides that the be ne fits to the prop erty liable to be asses- sed for said improvements are equal to the cost of same as reported by the ci ty civil en gi neer, and the reupo n take final a ctio n on said: . resolution the same bei ng confi rmed without modification. A petition signed by A.D.March etal , praying for the construction of cement sidewalks , curb & gutters on both sides of National Road from Southwest 1st to 2nd Street, the hoard takes same under ad- vi sement . Complaints from the Common Council were reported to the Board. & referred to Street Commissioner. Thur day February 7th, 1924. 3. 3. Tross Laberscn. The Board unanimously adopted Declaratory Resolution No. 174 -1924 To condemn a part of the Southwest 111. Section 31 , Township 14 , Range 1, west in Wayne Town ship, Wayne County , Indiana , for Park purposes, situated between Wie'st Main Street and Peacock Road and lying west of West 11th Street owned by Sarah Gilbert.
