The following streets nd parts of streets are hereby desig- ated as Boulevards, Washington Itreet, extended north and south rom a point where McAdoo Ave, m- ersects with Washington Street ex - ended, north on Washington Street extended to a point 1000 feet north if where C R I & P Ry, intersects Vashington Street. Section 2. The Mayor shall cause o be placed conspicuously at each >oint R•here a street or Highway ntersects such designated boule- �ard, a sign, bearing the words 'STOP, BOULEVARD" of suffi- �ient size to be easily readable at .he distance of One Hundred (100) 'eet by a person using such street or iighway. Section 3 All vehicles entering such Boulevard street from intersect- ing streets or highways shall come to a full stop before such entrance. Section 4. Exemptions Fire trucks and other fire equipment and police patrols, when going to fires or answer- ing calls for police, are exempt from the provisions of this ordinance, on condition that notice of the approach of such vehicle to the boulevard is given by the sounding of a loud siren by the driver of the vehicle. Section 5. Anyone violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance, shall upon conviction, be subject tc imprisonment not exceeding thtrt} (30) days, or to a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($10000) Whenever the fine and costs imposes for the violating of this Ordinance are not paid. the person convicted may be committed to jail until the fine and costs are paid, not to excee� thirty days. Section 6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Or- dinance are hereby repealed. Section 7• This Ordinance shall � be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed and adopted this 7th day of November, 1933.
