A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
CREATNG A PARTNERSHIP WITH SLIDELL, LOUISIANA
TO AID VICTIlVIS OF HURRICANE KATRINA
WHEREAS, The Village of Plainfield has reached out to this community which has similarities
to our own; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield desires to help Slidell, Louisiana with their assistance
efforts for the victims of Hurricane Katrina; and
WHEREAS, residents from the Village of Plainfield and surrounding communities have
generously donated clothing, supplies and much more to help the victims.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village of Plainfield, Will County, Illinois
hereby partners with Slidell, Louisiana to help our fellow Americans recover from this
devastating hurricane, and declares Slidell, Louisiana to be its Sister City.

the President not voting, and with 0 members absent, said vote being:
