The Board of Public Works of the City of R-ichmond , Indi and , met
in regular session at the office of s id Board Thursday January
17th, 1924 , at 9 o Y.c lock A. M. Pre sent , Messrs , .%!e�'aTi1 c& Henley,
Absent , Mr. Land . Two membe rs of said Boa rd bei ng present . The
following prose eding were had , to-wit :-• - •

A pe ,i tion for cement roadway in the alley first south of National •
- Road , from SW.4th btreet to alley between Southwest 4th & 5th St.
thence south to Southwest "C" Street , was received and referred to
Engineer for resolution, plans , etc. ,
A ppe-tition forlmprovement in Sedgwick Place, constructing cement
sidewalks 5' wide , curb, gutter and paving roadway with Bituminous
Macadam of Northwest 6th Stre et ; Also , for sewer system of sanitary
severs to accomodate the property in Sedzwi.ck Place , were received
and referred to Engineer for resolution, plans , etc .,
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 718-91924
• to impr ove the 1st alley north of Main Street; by constr wet in a
cement roadway from North 16th to 17th Street.
Sup' t. of Parks , J.:H_.Fu11e was directed to .order galvanised pipe
from Richmond City Water Works, for watering golf course as follows

The Board received bids for furnishing 20.000 gallons more or less
of Tarvia "B" or equal to be applied on city streets , as foll ows :
