The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at -the offi ce of said Board 'Monday January 14th
1924 , at 9 o' clock A. H. All the members of •said- Board,, Messrs ,
Land , iIcFail and Henley, being present . The following proceedings
were had , to -wit : - - -
The Boa rd unanimously adop to d Improvement Resolution No. 716-1924
to improve the alley between South 9th. & 10th Street, by construct--
ing a cement roadway , from South "A" Street to the first alley.* south
. of I.iain Street .
The Board unanimously adopted 'Improvement Resolution No. 717 -1924
to improve the alley betw ben South 7th & 8th Street, by constructing
a cement roadway from South "F" to "G" St re et.
The Board unanimously approved assessment roll under Improvement Res-
, olution No. 662-19243, for the constructing of a General Relief Sewer
in North 16th Street,North "E" Street and branches- in North 20th,
21st & 22nd Street , Connor Bearlyr & 'Jenks , contractors , and now direc
the same be transmitted forthwith to the 4jepartrent of Finance and
Path on zing the . same to b e paid out of the bond issues made there--
fore in amount of p45,9E4.32 less 0353 . 55 heretofore paid by' City
for castings , amount to be paid to contractors y11;45, 610.77 .'

The Clerk was directed to advertise for 500 feet of Hose for the
Fire Lepar ti ent

Sup' t. Hess of the M.E.L.& P.P. was au th,ori zed to employe the
Hoosier .Engi neeri ng Co. , to assist in laying out "Conduit Si?stem„
for future use for the Rlectric Plant .
- Coaims in amount ,of 244 a.98 , were allowed & ordered paid .
