Monday December 17th , 1923.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmo-ncl , Indiana, met
in regular session at- the_ office of said Board. Monday December
17t , 1923, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the mebers of said. Board,
-Messrs , Land, IvlcFail and Henley being present. The following
proceedings were had, to-wit : -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of North 19th Street, by
constructing cement curb & gutter on both sides of street , from
Main Street to the bridge over the railroad, as provided for under
Improvement Resalution No. 649-1922. No one appearing and no remon-
strance having been filed. The Board approved a final assessment aI
roll confirming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved.
And now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department
of Finance .
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the Reeveston Road,from
South 18th to 23rd Street; Also, South 21st Street , from South "B"
Street to Reeveston Road, by grading and paving the roadway with
Tarvia-Macadam between the points named, as provided for under ±€
Improvement Resolution No. 661-1923. No one appearing or remonstrat-
ing. The Board approved a final assessment roll confirming in all
things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, And
now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of
Finance .
The Clerk was directed to advertise for Tarvia "B" for the year
1924.
The City Attorney and Engineer were directed to prepare an ordinance
to present to the Common Council defining the boundary lines of the
-City of Richmond, Indiana, and annexing contiguous terretory.
The City Attorney was directed to prepare an ordinance to acquire
certain property for park & boulevard purposes.
The Board a.r'proved the various city payrolls to December 15th, 1923;
-Claims to the amount of 46747.11 were allowed. & ordered paid.
The Board then adjourned,
