The Board . of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indi ana , met
in regular session at the office of said BoaA. , Monday December
1Oth, 1923, at 9 0' cl ock: A. M. 211 the membe rs of said Board ,
Messrs , Land , I,:cFai1 and Henley being present , .the following, pro-- -
ce edi.ngs were had , to -wit : - v
Pursuant to postponement to this date , the Board met to hear all
persons interested or whose property is affected by the opening
of the alley between North 13th & 14- th Street, from North "G" St. =
north to the al ley running east to North 14 th Stre et, under De-
claratory Resolution NO. 170-1923. After hearing all persons in-
terested who appeared, the Board continued hearing on said open-
ing to Thursday January 24th , 1924.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 69 -1923,
for the improvement of North 20th Stre et , by construe ti ng cement
sidewalks on both sides of street except , where already laid & in
good condition, and' constructing cement curb & gutter on both
sid. es of street, and paving the roadwway wi th one of the following
modern ci ty pavements ; to-wit : Concre to , Brick, yspnalt or. Bitum-
inous ' Macadam , from Main Stre et to North 'E " Street.
The Clerk was, directed to notify the Richmond Light , Heat Power
Co . , of explosi on in North "E" Street Sewer presumbly caused by
leaking gas mains ,' and request their co-operation to remedy the
same .
The Clerk was directed to notify the Richmond City 'eater Works ;
Also , the Richmond 'sight , Heat & Power Company, of the ci ty' s
:intenti on to pave the following streets, and requ.esti ng that they
att end to th eir mains and services in said str eets , and fill the
trenches vi th good mate ri al and place the same in pror e r c ondi ti o
so a.s to -prevent any settlement after streets are improved,
North "L" Street , from 16th to 24th Street; North "A" Stre et, from
`north 3rd_ to 5th i„D eet; Hest 5th Street, from National Road to
chmond Avenue ; and North 19th Stre et, from Mai n to North "G"
Spreet.
