HomeMy Public PortalAboutWater Commissioners -- 2022-04-01 Minutes SOME f N RIP - el A Pursuant to Governor Baker' s March 12, 2020, Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law and his March 15 and March 23, 2020, Orders imposing strict limits on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible . Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting may be found on the Town ' s website at www . brewster- ma . gov , For this meeting, members of the public who wish to listen to the audio broadcast may do so via the Town of Brewster website at http : //livestream . brewster- ma . ov or on Channel 18 . No in - person attendance of members of the public will be permitted , but every effort will be made to ensure the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time via technological means . The Town has established specific email addresses for each board and committee that will be meeting remotely so that residents can send their comments in writing either before or during the meeting . Brewster Woods Fee Waiver Request : a . Commissioner Brown would like to have a formal request from Brewster Woods to have the fees waived based on being a non - profit . i . , Motion by Commissioner Baran to have a formal request from Brewster Woods to have the fees waived for the fire line , domestic tapping fees . • Motion 2nd by Commissioner Brown • Roll Call Vote : 3-0 -0 5 . Water Restriction Update : a . Trend of water level continues to go up in a positive direction . Will continue to monitor well and update in May . i . Commissioner Brown indicated the Town of Orleans and Dennis will be implementing water restrictions starting May 1St i • Still anticipating the possibility of a dry summer . 6 . Superintendent' s Report : a . Flushing water main . Completed Zone 5 and Zone 9 . Starting Zone 6 and will continue Zone 1 through 4 . i . Have received some phone calls about dirty water but, residents have been instructed to flush their service . b . Meeting with Utility Cloud LI Moving away from paper workorders and moving to have all work orders on the iPad and try to as less paper as possible . c .
