The Board.vof Publ is , 'Works of the City of hichmond , Indi ana met
in regular session at the office of said Board. Monday November
12th, 1923, at 9 o' cl ock• Lri. All the members of said Board,
• Messrs , Land, •McFall and Henley being present . The following
proceedings were had , to-wit
Pursuant to continuance to this date , the Board takes up the
rya,tt er of petition to re-open the alley- 2nd north of South "F"
Street , running from South 6th Street , east to the alley running
north & siouth between South 6th & 7th Street, after hearing mem-
bers from the South Side Improvement Associ ation, wh-o stated their
associati c n was unanimously in favor of re-opening said. all ey,and
property owners abutting on the proposed alley who are objecting
to its opening. The Board referred said opening to the City Plan
ning Commission, and fix Thursday December 6th , 1923, at 7 o` clock
P. M. as the time for hearing on said petition, and notify the
persons present , to be present at said meeting.The Board al so referred the pe ti tic n to open the alley between
North 13th &; 14th Street, from North "G" Street north to the al-
ley running east to North 14th Street, to the City Planning Cori-
mission.
The Board received report of the standing of various apprcpriati.cns
bills on file' and approximate amounts necessary to cover same for
the • balance of the year.

. The Board awarded the contract for runabout Automobile, to Webb
Coleman Co. , as per bid received November 8th, 1923 , less the sum
_. of341 . 25 allowance on 4 ti res & tubes and 5 rims & ti re carrier
making a net amount of 3349 . 77.
