City of Richmond, Indiana;
• Monday November 6th, 1923.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met.
in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday November
5th, 1923, at .9 o' clock A. M. Messrs , McFall and Henley being
present , Mr. IDand , Absent . Two members of said Board being present
the following proceedings were had, to -wit :-
The .matter of petition to open the alley 2nd north of South "E"
Street, runming from South 6th Street east , was taken up and dis-
cussed by various interested persons present , and action contin-
ued to Monday November 12 th , 1923.

Permission was granted to Frank F: Powell, to cut the curb and con-
struct cement driveway at 425-427 South 15th Street.

The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of contract under
Improvement Resolution No.663-1923, providing for relief sewer in
West 5th Street, . from Pearl St. to Peacock Road and from Richmond
Ave . to Randolph Street, John P. Hipskind , Contractor, the Board
accepted the same and ordered assessment roll prepared, assessing
the total cost . 136,816 .00 to the City• of Richmond., Indiana, as pro-
- tided for in said resolution.
The Board approved plat of ground laid out by Herman F. Pilgrim, •
to be known as"Madden Court' , consisting of 8 lots , fxeffi numbered.
from 1 to 8 inclusive , the same .being a re-plat of Lots , 8-9 & 10
and parts of 11 & 12 and vacated Randolph Stze et, of the Anna Mad-
dens , Addition to the City of Richmond, Indiana.
- Permission -was granted John F. Hipskind , to place his trench dig-
ging machine on City' s property on east side of Sheridan Street
north of Doran Bridge and near Graham' s, boi le r shop.
The Board directed the Clerk to prepare ordinances, transfering
certain accounts of M.E.T.&. P.P. and app . in sum of 065 ,000.00
for coal ; also for p41 ,000.00 for the purchase and complete in-
stallation of a new 750 H. P. at Light Plant . •
The Board then adjourned, •
