The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indi ana , met in regular session at the offi ce of said Board , Thursday Septem- ber 13th , 1923, at 9 oT clock: A. M. Messrs , McFail and Henley be- - ing present . Mr. Land „Absent , Two membe rs of said Board being present , the following proceedings were had , to --wit : - - - The Board met to he ar remonstrances and take' fi nal action on Declara- tory Resolution No. 168-1923, for the . opening of the all ey between South 10th & llth Street, from Scuth"I" to "J" Street , A remonstrance • by Carrie Kettleforder and others having been filed , the Board pro- ceeds to hear the same ; and being duly advised in the premises , over- rule s _ the same . And nor the Board takes fi nal action on 'seq ,,,r. esolu- tion, confirming, without moclifi cation, all former acticrkon said resoluti on. And the board now orders that a list or roll be prepared • of all owners of property, and of valuable interests theretr_, sought - to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property benefi ci ally affected . .Pursuant to postponment to this date at 10 A.M. The Board met to -hear - remonstrances and take fi nal action on Declaratory Resolutio n No. 16'7- 1923 , for the opening' and •extension of Southwest 5th Stre et, from the south line of National Road to the south line of Tract No. 216 , Offi.c- ial Map of the City of Richmond. , Indiana . A remonstrance by Herman - S. Hobson and others having been file-d, the board proceeds to hear the same , and being duly advised in the pr emises , overrules the same . And now the 'too tad. take s fi nal action on said resolution, c orifi rming , • - :without • modificatio n, all former action taken on same , and the boar d • . now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners or holders of property , and of valuable interests therein, sought to be taken or to be injuriously. affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected. The Board decide that the City of Richmond , Indiana, is not beneficially. affected. The, following communication was received , Sept-. 13, 1923. Hon. Board of ;works , Richmond, Ind., • - Gen tle men : . - In repai rs of pavement on Fast mlaain Street, Richmond , be- tween 8th & 9th Street , we desire the City of Richmond , to make re- - pairs to the 18 inches on outside of each track by using the .old lord.cI taken up from pavement & rela.yi ng them in this 18 inches , the cost of any new ma material used and the labor to be' paid for by this Company at actual cost pri ce. .
