The Board of Public Works of the. City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board , Thursday September
6th , 1923, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board , Messrs ,.
Land, McFall and Henley being 'present . The following proceedings
were had, t o-wit : -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the 'improvement of South "B" Street, by con-
structing cement curb & gutter on both sides of street and cement
sidewalk on north side thereof, from South 21st to 23rd Street,un-
der Improvement Resolution No. 658-1923. No one. appearing or remon-
strating, the Board uhariimously approved final assessment roil con-
firming the original assessment as heretofore made, and now direct
. said assessment roll be 'forthwith transmitted to the . Department of
Finance . •
The' Board meets to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement -of North "A" Street, by con-
structing cement sidewalks on both sides thereof, from North 7th t0_
16th Street, except where already laid & in good condi tion, under
Improvement Resoluti on No. . 679-1923. No one appearing or remonstrating
the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the original
- assessment roll heretofore approved. And now direct the same be trans-
. mitted forthwith .to the Department of Finance .
The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of improvement of the alley between North 13th
8c 1.4th Street , by constructing cement roadway. from North "C" to "D"
Street , under Improvement Resolution No.692-1923. No one appearing
. or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll con- -
• firming the original assessment roll as heretofore approved. And. •
noc - direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of
. Finance .

The Finance Department was 'directed to pay the several contractors

- The Board sign agreement wi th The Sanitary Service Advertising Co. ,
of Indianapolis , Indiana, permitting them to place 24 waste paper
. receptacles on street intersections in the business district ; free
of any cost whatsoever. to the City , the said Advertising Co. reserves
all advettising space on said receptacles for a period of three years.
