GREENCASTLE COMMON COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING
TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 1999 6:30 P.M. PUTNAM COUNTY LIBRARY
The Greencastle Common Council met for a Public Hearing Tuesday, June 8, 1999, 6:30 p.m. at
the Putnam County Library. Mayor Michael called the meeting to Order. On the Roll Call, the
following were found to be present: Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Green and
Councilor Masten. Councilor Baynard was absent. Also present was: City Attorney Laurie
Robertson, City Engineer Ron Smith, Mike Brenner from London Witte Group, Mike Cline from
Hannum, Wagle and Cline Engineering and Acting Wastewater Treatment Superintendent Mike
Neese.
Mayor Michael stated this is the Public Hearing for Ordinance 1999 -4, An Ordinance Amending
Ordinance No. 1994 -12, being an Ordinance Amending Ordinance Nos. 1966 -7, 1977 -13, 1977-
® 15, 1980 -10 and 1980 -14, Being An Ordinance Establishing Rates and Charges by the City of
Greencastle Indiana, for Use and Service of its Sewer System, Providing Changes for Connection
and Providing= for Collection Thereof.
Mayor Michael asked for public comments. There were none. Councilor Hammer stated being
this Ordinance represents an increase of at least 50% and no one shows up, must mean everyone
thinks the increase is needed.
Motion to adjourn made by Hammer, seconded by Councilor Green. Vote was
unanimous.
