The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in
regular session at the office of said B oarB., Thursday July 21st ,. 1923
at 9 o' clock A. H. A l the members of said Board, Leis srs , Land.,
Lio.Fail and Henley being present. The following proceedings were had ,
to-wit : •
_ The Board order that the City credit Vim. L.P.vIeek or Ida M.Bradwa,y
on the iu if Lot 27 , J.Smith ' s, Ori gi nal Plat , for 36 .C6 yds Concrete
pavement 1. 584' or 458. 57 over-charged on South 5th Street improve-
ment , -Resolution 612-1921 .as per deci sion of City attorney .
The Board received notice from State of Indi aria Public Service Cori-
mission, of the approval of the surrender of the Franchise of the
Richmond Home Telephone Company,- Cause No.7236 , approved June 30 , 1923.
in lieu thereof, said company were given an indeterminate permit
under the Law of the State of Indi ana.

The Board at proved consi sti rig of 5 lots , Nos. 1 to 5 inclusive , here-
tofore approved by the City Plan Commi ssi on, the same being a Sub-Div .
Pt . of S.E.Qtuar . of S.L. Quar . of Sec. 31 , Twsp . 14 N:Rrnge . 1, West ,
_ , and lying- between the Peacock Road and the alley 1st south , and be-
tween Northwest 7th Street ande the alley be tween Nm'4`r. 6th & 7th Sts.

The City Controller presented a, cLdtailed report of aprropriations
• for 1922-1923 and the expenditures out of the several appropriations
for the. 1st 6 months of 1923 together with a comparison of the same
length of time for 1922. which was filed•
