The Board of 2Ublic Works of the City of AiG'1 nond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday Julz 9th , 1923 , at 9. o' clock .A.. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs , Land , McPail and Henley bei.ncg present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : - The Board approved primary assessment roll under Improveelent ::eso- lution No' s. 651-1922, 672-1923 & 674-1923, The City Lugi nc er reported the compl eti do of contract under Improve- ment Le oluti on No. 659-19".3, and the Board approved a primary as- sessment roll. In nutter of .ground controlled by Dickinson Trust Co. , and offered for sale to city , the deed to same was referred to City Attorney for investigation & report. EL. L. Davis , reported to the Board, that the County Sup' t . , of loads called up over the phone stating that the Commissioners of Layne County , were contemplating the paying of wood block floor and pai nting the "It' Beams on North 19th Street Bridge knoven as the (-aar Bridge , at a cost of approximately 51000.00 , as the bridge is partly in the City limits , the Board on motion instructed the Com- missicners, the City would bear one-half of said expense of ')800.00 as one-half of the bridge is within the corporate limits . The Street Commissioner was directed to re-lay- the brick in Main Street in front of Sam Jaffe building kno erei as Lucas garage .
