Monday July 2nd , 1923.
The Board of Public V orks of the City of Ni chmond , Indiana, met in •
regular session at the offi ce 'of said Board Monday- July 2nd„ 1923,
at 9 o' clock A. 1.1. All the membe rs of said Board , Messrs, Land ,
Maliai l and Henley being p' went . The following proceedings were
'lad, to -wit - -
The City Engineer reported the completion of contract under Improve-
ment iies;olution No. 674-1923, for the construction .of cern zt roadway-
in . the alley between North 19th & 2,0th Street, from North' "L" Street
to Glen Avenue . The Joanna accented the same and ordered assessment
roll prepared..
Lr. Henley repoI�ted in the matter of. Improvement .Resolution No. 672-
1923, cement roadway in 1st alley south of North .°'C" Stie et from 6th
to 7th Street, being O.N. The Board accepted the same and ordered 'an
assessment roll prepared. .
- In Natter of improvement heso1uti.cn No. 617--1921 , for improvement
of NVi. 6th-7th and Sedgwick Streets , lir. Henley reported the streeta
not in good condi tion, the Engi neer was authorised the have the con-
- tractor, . ;.B.Pyle Co. , place streets in proper shape before accept-
ance of same wi 11 be cons id ere d.
The Board .recommend ed that a portion of groins on west side of rive r
be purchased from Dic _inson Trust Co. , at price submitted 17 . 65 .
The -Board directed that in fu tare alley improvements , the Clerk noti -
f,r the various; utilities as to making pro' er repairs to ;poles lines
The Clark was irstruc'ted' to notify The 4lhiteway Adve _rti sing Co. t o
place waste Paper receptacles under their permit with the ci ty on or
beffre August let 1923, If not so placed their permit ,-:ill be revoke
The Sup' t . of Light Plant , was authorized to cuter into contracts for
