_ The Board meets to hear remonst arm ces , if any, of persons Primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the "all ey between South
10th & nth Street , by constructs 17. a cement roadway, from South "G '
to South "I". Street , as provided for by Improvement hese.luti on No.
655-192.2. .Afte r hearing all persons interested who appeared, the
Board approve s a fi nal assessment roll , confiriining the origi na.1 as-
sessment roll as heretofore amp roved, and now di rect said assessment
roll be transmitted fcrthwi th to the Department of Finance
The Board meets to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improverien t of the alley between North 16t
& 17 th Street by. con tructing a cement roadway from North "C" to"rE"
Street , as provided for by Improvementhhesolutio n No.656-19P 2.After
hearing all persons i_ntereated who arp eared, the board approvesa
fi nal assessment roll, confirming in all h ings , the on gS na1 assess.-
meat roll as heretofore approved, Said assessment roll is further
ordered transmitted forthwith to the Depart; ment of Finance .
The various complaints of Counci 1 were read and referred to various
departments for investigation, etc . ,
Permission vas granted Newell Todd to cut the curb & construct dri ye-
_ way 12ft . wi de on South 18th Stre et .
The hichmond Home Telephone Co. , was granted perm , sion to lay con-
duit between the sidewalk & cur'o on South "B" Street from 16th to 18
crossing 16th & 17th1_Stse and across "B" St at two places.
Teti tion for the , constr unti on of sewer in Southwest 5th Stre et from
the alley between Main & SVi. "A" Street to Southwest "A" Street was
deceived and referred to• Engineer for plans , etc . ,
The Board received report from City Controller r7ebster Ferry, in
matter of payroll and miscellaneous accounts of Street Department
for the 5i months of 1922 & 1923.
