HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 1408._ MARY ANN STUKEL 4P R 700414706 Will County Retarder Page 1 of 4 iiiiHiuiiuiuiiNiiuiiwiuiiiiiihiuiiniiiuuiihiiiiiNi~iiiiiiiiiii RESOLUTION NO. 1408 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS BENEFICIAL TO THE PUBLIC PiN: 07-01-33-100--006, 07-01-28-300-021-0010, 07-01-28-300-021-0020, 07-01-28-300-014, 07-01-28- 300-024-0010, 07-01-28-300-024-0020, 07-01-28-300-023-0010, 07-01-28-300-023-0020, 07-01-28-300- 020, 07-01-28-300-016, 07-01-28-300-022, 07-01-28-300-018, 07-01-28-300-012, 07-01-28-300-009, 07- 01-28-100-002, 07-01-28-100-001, 07-01-29-400-020, 07-01-32-100-001, 07-01-29-400-015, 07-01-29- 400-014, 07-01-29-400-019, 07-01-29-400-005, 07-01-29-400-006, 07-01-29-400-011, 07-0.1-29-400-013, 07-01-29-200-002,, 07-01-29-200-008, 07-01-29-200-009, 07-01-29-200-014, 07-01-29-200-017 WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield (hereinafter referred to as "VILLAGE") has made certain improvements to a sewer main in the following location: along the West side of Van Dyke North of Bronk Estates and Wilding Point to 127th Street and then west on 127th Street along the North side to King's Crossing Subdivision (hereinafter referred to as "IMPROVEMENTS"); .and WHEREAS; the IMPROVEMENTS are valuable and substantial improvements benefiting property described in Exhibit "B" and shown in Exhibit "C" which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and which are further described as the "BENEFITING PROPERTY"; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the corporate authorities of the VILLAGE that such IMPROVEMENTS benefit the property described in Exhibit "B"; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows: SECTION 1 The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated by reference into the body of this Agreement as if fully set forth and repeated. SECTION 2 The cost of the IMPROVEMENTS, as described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof, have been certified in the sum of six hundred thirty-six thousand seven hundred ~1CCUMENT RECORDED WAS A COPY -NOT AN ORIGINAL /`~/ eighty-four dollars and ninety-five cents 0536,784.95). The VILLAGE shall be entitled to recapture one hundred 100%) percent of those costs constituting the IMPROVEMENTS in the amount of six hundred thirty-six thousand seven hundred eighty-four dollars and ninety- five cents ($636,784.95) from the BENEFITING PROPERTY as described in Exhibit "B". SECTI®N 3 The VILLAGE staff is authorized to collect said sum of $636,784.95 from the BENEFITING PROPERTY, including requiring said payment as a condition of any final plat of subdivision or before any building permits are issued, or as a condition of annexation, whichever occurs first, as to the BENEFITING PROPERTY.
