Committee members present were Jim Trabulsie (Chairperson) , Carol Appleton, Steven Bergquist, Tom Turcketta , Patricia Busch and George Carey. CONTINUED APPLICATIONS H - 12 - 21 - 313 Stephen and Holly Sullivan , 72 Robbins Hill Road , Map 49 Lot 99 Fence ■ Homeowner Stephen Sullivan was present at the meeting ■ Mr Sullivan stated that the proposed cedar fence will replace the previously installed vinyl fence ■ Chairperson Trabulsie confirmed with the homeowner that a white cedar scalloped picket fence, painted white is what is being proposed as the amendment to the original application . ■ Tom Turcketta made a motion to approve as amended . Patricia Busch seconded the motion . ■ All voted to approve as amended H - 22 - 6 Edward and Geraldine Caplan , 199 Blueberry Pond Drive, Map 100 Lot 37 Solar ■ Homeowners Geraldine & Edward Caplan were present in the meeting , Kim Taylor from Great Sky Solar also spoke in regard to the project. ■ Mrs Caplan stated the solar company told them they would not generate enough power if they changed the design ■ Chairperson Trabulsie recapped the committees' suggestions from the previous meeting ■ Mr Trabulsie suggested to compromise that the two solar panels at the top of the garage can be removed as well as a landscaping plan to minimize the visual impact ■ Ms Taylor stated she believed the plans as present meets all guidance set forth and they would not like to make any changes to the presented plans ■ Mrs Caplan stated she would like to have the committee vote instead of continuing the application to the next meeting ■ Mr Trabulsie stated that the applicants have ten days from the date that the Town Clerks office stamps it in . Applicants may appeal to the Historic Regional Commission upon denial of their application ■ Stephen made a motion to deny due to the location of the solar panels not meeting ' minimal visual impact' as required by the Historic Bulletin ■ 4 votes to deny and 1 abstained SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS H - 22 - 7 Steven and Louisa Shook, 90 Susan Lane, Map 55 Lot 6 14 x 14 Shed 1 TOWN OF BREWSTER ®Q � �EecaM��Fq t 4 OLD KINGS HIGHWAY REGIONAL DISTRICT P149NE : ( 500 ) 1396-3701 EXT 1125 HISTORIC DISTRICT 21. 98 MAIN STREET EMAIL : ME T N R� wsv R-MA.0 V BREWSTER MA 02631 ■ Jamie McGrath, Pine Harbor, was present representing the homeowners ■ Mr McGrath reviewed the project with the committee, stated the shed will be behind the house, board and batten siding, possibly shingling with white cedar at a later date ■ Chairperson Trabulsie stated the amendment to the application would be the board and batten siding as opposed to the original stated cedar siding ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . Tom Turcketta seconded ■ All voted to approve as amended W22 - 15 Karl and Mary Sue Kissa , 248 Long Pond Road , Map 66 Lot 111 Exterior Renovation ■ Jasen Muto, Muto Construction, represented the homeowners at the meeting ■ Mr Muto reviewed the project with the committee ■ Chairperson Trabulsie noted that the material portion of the application was not completed save for the mahogany decking ■ Mr Trabulsie asked if the project had been completed prior to the application for Historic Committee Approval . Mr Muto confirmed that it indeed had been prior ■ Mr Trabulsie asked if the outdoor shower was new. Mr Muto confirmed that it was new ■ Mr Trabulsie asked for the material of the shower. Mr Muto stated that he believed the shower was mahogany and primed pine ■ Stephen Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor to approve as presented W22 - 19 Rodney and Janet Fulcher, 30 Freemans Way, Map 84 Lot 59 Solar ■ Steve Kelly, Sun Run Solar, represented the homeowners at the meeting ■ Chairperson Trabulsie stated that the project consisted of solar panels located on the ■ Mr Kelly stated that the plan had been altered to remove the 1 and half rows of panels that had previously been located on the front of the garage ■ Amended with two arrays, 36 panels : one on the rear of the house and one on the rear of the garage ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . Stephen Bergquist seconded W22 - 32 Elanor & Jeff Ingram, 277 AP Newcomb Road , Map 25 Lot 72 Porch ■ Tom Moore, Tom Moore Designs, represented the homeowners at the meeting ■ Mr Moore reviewed the proposed project with the committee ■ Patricia moved to approve as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . H cM rxNc W r R- a�A . v BREWSTER MA 02631 ■ Mr Trabulsie asked if the windows in the rear elevation were mulled and stated the windows need to have a stud pocket ■ Windows to all match, 4 over 1 ■ Mr Turcketta stated that all windows must have sills and 4" casings ■ Mr Bergquist asked for the elevation from ground to peak. Mr Swanson was unsure of the exact number ■ Mr Bergquist stated that it appears that the garage would eclipse the size of the house. Mr Swanson stated that the roof height of the garage would match the roof height of the existing home ■ Mr Turcketta asked for clarification on the size of the columns. Mr Swanson stated he is proposing to use 8 x 8 columns ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . Tom Turcketta seconded . in All voted to accept as amended D - 22 - 35 Carolyn Sprogell , 717 Stony Brook Road, Map 15 Lot 17 Demo Barn ■ Allison Alessi , A3 Architecture, and Dan Curry, Homeowner, were present at the meeting ■ Chairperson Trabulsie stated that the property has a Form B, which lists it as a historical home ■ Mr Curry stated that the north barn was move to the location in 1950 and was not original to the site . He stated that the other barn is original to the property is the historic structure on the property and will not be touched during the renovation . ■ Mr Trabulsie states that the Form B does not reflect what the homeowner is saying and would like to have a site visit ■ Tom Turcketta moved to continue . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted to continue application so that a site visit may be completed D - 22 - 36 Sean Darcy, 61 Consodine Road , Map 15 Lot 17 Demo Shed ■ David Banash, represented the homeowners at the meeting ■ Mr Banash stated that the demolition will be completed in two phases, phase one would be the removal of the portion of the shed that encroaches on the neighbor' s property and phase two would be the removal of the rest of the shed ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Stephen Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor to accept as presented A - 22 - 36 Gordana Vlahovic, 143 Ellis Landing, Map 15 Lot 17 Changes to H - 21 - 196 ■ Patrick Malloy, represented the homeowners at the meeting ■ Mr Malloy reviewed the proposed changes to the previously approved Certificate of Appropriateness and stated that most of the changes are to make the home able to withstand the wind shear ■ Stephen Bergquist moved to accept as presented .
