ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENDORSEMENT OF THE
KENDALL COUNTY TRAILS Ft GREENWAYS PLAN, 2004
WHEREAS, Kendall County is a rapidly developing county with an
expanding population; and
WHEREAS, Kendall County residents desire to have a system of multi-use
recreational trails and greenway corridors of preserved open space; and
WHEREAS, developing such a system of trails and greenways requires
long-range planning and the cooperation of many local units of
government; and
WHEREAS, the Kendall County Trails &r Greenways Plan, 2004 was created
through a collaborative effort of many local units of government; and
WHEREAS, the vision of the Kendall County Trails Ft Greenways Plan, 2004
is to facilitate the planning and development of a system of multi-use
trails and greenway corridors; and
WHEREAS, the Kendall County Trails Fit Greenways Plan, 2004 is consistent
with the goals and objectives of the Village of Plainfield;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Plainfield offers an
acknowledgement of endorsement of the Kendall County Trails Ft
Greenways Plan, 2004.
Enacted and approved on March 1, 2004.
