RESOLUTION DONATING OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT TO
CARTERET BOARD OF EDUCATION
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret ("the Borough") has
recently obtained certain replacement computer hardware; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the new equipment has made the
existing equipment obsolete; and
WHEREAS, the obsolete equipment is not needed for Borough
purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Carteret Board of Education ("the Board")
operates a program in which students are taught to repair
computer equipment; and
WHEREAS, The Board's Program would be benefited by
acquiring the Borough's obsolete equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that the obsolete computer
equipment being housed in the Borough Clerk's Office, a list of
which is attached as Schedule A, is hereby donated to the
Board;
BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that this transfer is permitted
without bidding in that the transfer is between two governmental
bodies;
Be IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall
advedised as prescribed by law.
