1 . The meeting was called to order by the chairman at 10 : 05 AM via
Zoom
2 . Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with revisions .
3 . Proposed demolition of the historic barn at 717 Stony Brook Road
was discussed and despite our request to the HDC to hold off on
their decision until the BHC met and provided their recommendation
the HDC approved the demolition . The BHC will seek better
communication and coordination with the HDC .
4 . Faythe Ellis reviewed the 5 - year plan of the CPC and the allocation of
funds to be included on the town warrant article in May : 1 . Open
Space and • recreation - 10 % ; 2 . Historic 40 % ; 3 . Housing - 10 % ; and 4 .
any of the 'labove four - 70 % . Also on the warrant will be request for
funding for the digitation of the Ellen St Sure files by the Brewster
Historical Society .

5 . The Spruce Hill Barn and House - A committee has been appointed by
the Select Board to oversee the plan for the development of the Sea
Camp and Spruce Hill properties . The BHC plans to reach out to that
committee regarding the historic nature of the several buildings
6 . Progress on the presentation of Form B ' s in binders continues apace
as new form B ' s are completed . The old Form B ' s are included along
with new updated ones on each house . Eric Dray has completed
drafts of 23 more Form B ' s funded for this fiscal year
7 . The issues surrounding the old school house owned by the
Conservation Trust were again discussed . Or consultant ' Eric Dray
completed a new draft Form B on the building . The old school house
is on the Nation Register of Historic Places and included in the towns
Historic District . The commission believes the building can be
restored and will help explore alternatives for the Conservation
Trust . Faythe provided some history of the small building next to the
old school house
8 . Fieldstone Hall - the committee agreed to Renee Dees proposal to
choose a date41 : 30 Am at Ocean Edge for a meeting to tour the
property and the efforts to enhance its historical preservation
9 . Historic House Preservation Awards - the BHC is scheduled to meet
with the Select Board at their meeting in late April
10 . The old Mill Site Wall Restoration - the paperwork on this project
may be complete but no work likely until next winter .
11 . The next meeting was schedules for May 5 , 2022 at 10 : 00 AM to
be followed by a tour of Fieldstone Hall .
12 . There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at
10 : 46 AM
