City of Richmond, Indiana ;
Monday February 12th, 1923.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board , Monday February
- 12th , 1923, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board ,
Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley being present . The following pro-
ceedings were had , to -wit :
The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action on De-
claratory Resolution No. 163-1923, for the vacation of a part of
the Alley between North 13th & 14th Street , running from North "G"
Street north to the 1st alley running east between North "G" & "H"
Street , from said alley to North . 14th Street . No remonstrance being
filed .with or presented to the Board against said proposed vacation,
th ereup on, being fully advised in the matter, the board takes fi nal
action, Conn.rming, without modifi cation, all former acti on taken on
the same . And the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of
all owners or. ho ld ers of property, and of valuable interests therein,
sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll
shall also describe the property beneficially affected.
The B®_rd received a certificate from Dr. Richard Schillinger,stat-
ing that John B. Schnelle has an injured knee and is unable to work
which was referred to Street Commissioner, for further information
as to the extent of the injury and cause,
Fire Chief E. E. Miller, was directed to attend the Fire Prevention
Convention at Indianapolis , Indiana, February 13th & 14th, 1923.
The Clerk was directed to write to Secy. Ed. Jackson, for informat-
ion as .th whether the city is required to take out licenses for
tractors and trailers used in Street Department .
Claims to the amount of yn,i15 ,329.68 -were allowed & ordered pai"d.
Payrolls, to February 10th , 1923, were approved.
The City Civil Engineer was instructed to prepare plans for improv-
ing the alley between North "G" to "H" St. from 14th Street west to
the alley running north.
The Board then adjourned,
