AUTHORIZING PURCHASE UNDER STATE CONTRACT FOR
"2017 Police Interceptor SUV"
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret. pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:I I -12a and N.J.A.C.
5:34-7.29(c), may by resolution and without advertising for bids, purchase any goods or
services under state contract of the State of New Jersey; and
WHEREAS. the Borough of Carteret has the need to purchase 2017 Police Interceptor
SUV for the Police Department utilizing New Jersey State Contract # 88728, from Cherry
Hill Winner Ford in the amount of $32.888.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has determined that sufficient funds are
available and a purchase order will be processed with account 7- 01- 25- 250 -299.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret authorizes the
purchase of 2017 Police Interceptor SUV for the Police Department from Cherry Hill
Winner Ford. New .Jersey State Contract #88728. 250 Haddonfield- Berlin Rd. Cherry
Hill. NJ 08034 in the amount of $32,888.00.
