The Board of Public '+.'orkk.s of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday January 15 .h,
1923, at 9 O' clock A. M. All the members of said. Board , Messrs ,
Land , McFall and Henley bed ng pr esent . The fo 1 lowing proceedings •
were had to -wit : --
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Reoc luti o n No. 661-1923
for the improvement of the -reeve ston Road , from South 18th to 23rd
Street ; Also South 21st. Street , from South "B" Street to Reeveston
Road , by paving the roadway with one of the following kinds of ci ty
pavements , to -wit : Cement ,Roo asphalt Sheet asphalt ed Asphalt.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolutic n No. 662-1923
-To construct 'a Relief Sewer in North 16th Street and North "E" .
running from the river to North "B" St in North 16th Street,thence
east in North "E" Street , from Nort;,: 16th Street to North 22nd Street ;
Also branches in North 20th Street , from North "B" to "B" Street ;
North 21st St , North "E ' to 'P"• Street and North 22nd Street from
North "B" to "B" Street . • -
Pursuant to advertisement , the Board received bids for a Concrete
Mixer for the Pt.E.L.& P.P. as follows , viz :
The Hoc;onaha Company, bid :
"Jaeger Concrete Mixer 3458 .00. •
The same v:as referred to Sup' t. of M.E. B.& P. P.with power to
act .

Sup t . Hess of the 1.1.E. 1.& P. P. recommended certain betterments ,
improvements , additions etc. , to Light Plant , at an approxi_ir.te
--cost of ,; 88;C00.CC ; the Board deems the betterments essential to •
the City and operaton of plant , recommend that the Controller
approve and recommend an appropriati-on to the Common Counci 1 in
the sum of ‘,r88,CC0.00 to install said betterments , etc . ,

The Board instrt:_cted the Sup' t , of ,_. E.L.& P.P. to submit claims
of bills for payment against said. plant the first meeting after
the 1Cth: & 25th of each month.
