Thursday December 28th, 1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of iti chmond , Indiana , met in
regular session at the office of said. Board Thursday December 28th
1922 , at 9 .o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs',
Land , McFall and Henley being present , the following proceedings -
were had , to-wit :-
City Civil Engineer, D. B. Davis , submitted a blue print showing
contemplated changes in street at. the intersection of South 9th &
"E" Ste together with the recommendation that the City make desired
_ :and necessary changes_ in the payment at the expense of the City and
pay Mr'- Harry Stillinger $500.00 in addition thereto , he to dedicate
to th'e city the 40. foot triangle. On motion of Mr. Henley the plan
of Mr. Davis was concurred in.
Pursuant to request of the Board the followiing named firms, submit-
_ted bids on Playground equipment for Glen Miller Park as follows : -
The .American Playground .Devi ee Co, bid; -
One Merry-go-round s 165.00; One 17B:Zadder, .6.56.00; One Cl.Slide$300.
Less 20% discount making total bid ; $416:80
The Everwear, bid ;

The Board upon the recommendation of Henry Pune , Park Sup' t. ,
awarded the contract for the above mentioned devi ces , to the/Amer-
ican Playground Devi. ce Co. of Anderson, Indiana .
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for Concrete Mixer
complete with loader and gas engine , for th,e Municipal Electric
Lighting & Power Plant .

The Board allowed claims to the amount of z18 ,177.42 , and ordered
same pai d. they also approved the various payrolls up to Dec. 23,
1922. ,
On motion of Mr. Henley the Board adjourned to meet Thursday Jan.
4th, 1923.
