The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said. Board. Thursday December
21st , 1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board,
Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley being present , the following pro-
ceedings were had , to-wit :- -
Several prop erty "owners real ding on Northwest -5th Street , between
National Road & Richmond. Ave . appeared before the Board, objecting
to re-paving of said. 5th Street ,' and requested the Board to await
and give them a chance - to have a peti tion presented to the Commis-
sioners of Wayne County , to have the same built under 3 mile road
law, the Board agreed to await 20 days for said petition.
The Board. -approved a plat presented. by Florence Fulghum, comprising
in all 160 town lots , numbered from 1 to 160 both inclusive , the
same being south of National Road and east of East Haven Ave , be-
. ing sub-div. of pt ."'of mmEmemm m NW.,duar.sect. and pt. of SW.quar
Sect. twsp.. 6, rnge.l west , and to be known as the Fulghum Farm
Addition, all streets and alleys are laid. out _ and' dedicated to the
public us.e.

The Board dir edited the Building Inspector, to proceed with the
changes necessary in police garage , and supervise the making of
said changes. -
The Board authorize D. C. Hess, Sup' t, of Light Plant , 'to proceed
with the sewer end of the public comfort station to be installed
• under the office of said. plant , and found sati sfaetory, to -proceed
with the work of installing said comfort station in accordance .
- with the plans & specifications.
. The Board dir ected the Clerk, to wri to and have the following firms
to send catologues together with prices for additional play-ground
equipment for Glen Miller Park, and have their representatives
- callmon. Henry Fulle Park Sup' t. , on or before Thursday December
. 28th , 1922, American Playground. Devise Co. , Anderson, Indiana,
Fred Medart Mfg. Co. , St. Louis- , Mo. , and The Everw.ear Mfg. Co.
of Spri ngfi eld , Ohio.
Mr. Henley moved. the Board adjourn until Thursday Dec. 28 , 1922.
