The Board of Public Works of the City of iaichmond , Indiana, met in regular sessi on at the office of said Board , Thurs day December 7t'i, 1922, at 9 0' clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley being present., the fol- -lowing proceedings were had, to-wit : -- T • he Board si gned agreement , permitirig the White Way Advertising Co. to place without any cost to the City 24 self closing recep- tacles for use on several street intersections of the city men- ti fine d in the agreement , for depositing waste. paper, etc. , the White Way Advertising C o. to have the right of advertising on said receptacles subject to the approval of the Board . The Clerk -was directed to- forward to said company, the permits with the request that they sign the same and return a copy to the Board. Claims to the amount of y 12 ,406.81 , were allowed; the Board ap- proved the various payrolls to December 2nd , 1922. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana , met in regular session at the offi ce of said Board, Monday December 11th, 1922 , at 9 o' clock A. 1.1. All the members of said Board, Messrs , Land , McFall and Henley, being -present , the following proceedings were had , to--wit : The Board received letter and copy of franchise or permit signed by the Vihite Way Advertising Co. on receptacles to be plla.ced on certain street intersections . • The ten day period for property owners signing petition for im- probing North west 7th Street ; Also Hain Street , from Peacock i oad to West Corporation Line as provided for by Improvement resolution No. 640 -1922 ; Also for the improvement of Southwest 7th Street from West Main Street to the National Road. , under Improvement hes•olutio n .No. 641-1922; having expired and no petition having been filed for said improvements other than selected by the Board , on motion the contract for both of the above improvements we -e awarded to L. P. Beard .Constructi.on Co. , of India napo Pis, Indiana , at the price named in their bid siibmitted Nov. 25 , 1922 , and the Board approved the • Contract & Bond of said Contractors for said improvements . 35 4 Monday December 11th, 1922. E. L. Commons, having presented a bill in the amount of 350.00 , for cutting clover off of his lots , by the City need cutters , the same was referred to the City zttonney, and said E. L. Commons to be so notified by the Clerk. The Board received bids for construction of Storm tivater Sewer in South "C " Street , from 2nd to 4.tr Street, under Improvement Ideso luti.on No.657-1922, as follows : "John F.
