Monday December 4th , 1922 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond ; Indiana , met in
regular session at the. office of said Board Mondegr December 4th,1922, •
at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board, Messrs , Land ,
McFail and Henley being present , the following proceedings were had ,
to-wit : - - -
The Board, extend the time for' the completion. of contract under Im-
provement Resolution No.617-1322, for' the construction of cement
sidewalks, curb & gutters, and .bi.tuminous. bound macadam. roa d ay, in
Northwest 6th, 7th and Sedgwi ck Streets in Wrightland Addition, the
. extension is granted on account of weather beiag to cold:- to apply
the binder, the. streets proper being completed and will: be opened
to traffic, after the same have been given another rolling , and the
Board agrees that the Street Commissioner will be notified to roll
said streets when requested by the contractor Z.B.Pyle , the contract-
or to pay for use' of same and -take proper care of roller.
The Board on motion order the Richmond City Water Works , to extend
the water chain in West Main Street from West 8th to west corporate •
limits of city ; Also to connect the dead end of water main in South
"J" street between 6th Str.eet and railroad , and to place fire hdrant
on South "J" Street,• to be located by Fire Chief; also to notify
said water works , of the city' s intention to improve West 5th Street
from National Road to Richmond Ave , next year and. to be prepared to
take care of their mains in connection with said. improvement..
