Monday November 20th, 1922.
The Board of T.ibl is Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the. office of said Board, Monday November.
20th,. 1922, at 9 o°clock A. H. 411 the members of ,said Board
Messrs, Land , McFall and Henley being present , the following pro -
ceedings were had, to-wit :-
The Board rec ei.ve d tentative proposition from the White-Way Ad-
verti sing Co. to place 24 trash or waste paper receptacles on the
city street intersections free of anyncost to the city, with the
understanding they have full control of the advertisements placed
on same , the proposition was referred to City Attorney with rectum
mendations, that the City have some voice in the .kinds of adver-
tising placed on said receptacles.
Edwin C. Wright , was granted permission'to either dig trench in
the alley _between South 21st & 22nd St. or in 22nd Street, as the
said Wright , decid.es all under the supervision of the City Civil
Engineer. .
The Board unanimously adAppted Improvemeit Resolution No. 657-1922
for Storm Water Sewer in South "C" Street from South 2nd to , 4th
Street , and directed the Clerk to advertise for bids on same.
Whereas, E.H.Berhei de, has paid into the city treasury the sum of
'20.00 , for privele ge to tap into sewer in. North 2nd Stre et]. and
whereas , the former owner of the property Hrs . Mastin, had depos-
ited the money for said privelege , "the Board direct an appropria-
tion in the amount of :j520.00 be made , and the amount be refunded
to said E.H.Berheide.
A peti tion complaining against foot ball and other games being
played in South-7th St. Park was filed, as the matter had been
attended to by the Sup' t. of Parks .
The Board enter into contract with the General Electric Company
for furnishing Meters to M.E.L. P.P. for the next year.
In matter of Compensati on to A.L.Mclntyre, employe of the Light
Plant , the Board authorized and approved the matter of final set-
tlementibe submitted to the Industrial Board. of Indiana.
The Board authorized Mr. Owens , meter tester at Light Plant to
attend convention to be held at Cincinnati , Ohio. necessary ex-
pense be paid by Light Plant .
The Board then adjourned,
