City of Richmond , Indiana,
Thursday November 16th,1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of. Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday November
16th , 1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board,
Messrs, Land , McFall and Henley being present , the following pro-
ceedings were had , to-wit : -
A peti ti on signed by Edgar E. Jordan et-al, to improve Richmond
Avenue , by resurfacing the roadway with tarvia binder, from North-
west 5th Street to the west Corporation limits was received, and
referred to the Engineer for plans for next. year . •
The City Civil Engineer was directed to have the cnrners of walk
intersections repaired on west • side of North & South 5th Street
at Ivlain Street; also North 16th & "A" and. South 18th & "A" Streets
and 8th & Ma in Str e et s. 0
The Street Commissioner was directed to take up brick street on
'south side of Main Street between 2nd & 3rd Street, and make an
effort to take care of water seeping up thru the street.
The clerk was directed to notify the Street Car Co. to repair the
frog on Main Street between 4th & 5th Street, in an effort to
stop the continued cause for complaint.
The Beard signed lamp contract with Richmond Ele,ctri.c Co, for the
M. E. L. & P. P. 0
A letter from H. Dollarhide & Co. desiring the City to purchase -
one of their Freres Down-draft Incenerating plants , to replace our
present system, was read and the Clerk directed to noti fy them we
are not in the market for new plant .
