City of itiichmond, Indiana,
Monday November 13th, 1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Iiichmond, Indiana, met.
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November
13th, 1922, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said Board,
-Messrs , Land, McFall and Henley being present , the following
proceedings were had, to-wit : --
Louck & Hill Co.., were granted permission to cut the curb , for
driveway on North 3rd Street at Lot No: 20 J.M.Laws, Addition.
Edwin C . Wright , was granted permission to cut the curb , for
driveways on Peacock Road at No. 2, Wrightland, Addition.
Edwin, C . Wright, was granted permission to cut the curb in two
places on Northwest 6th Street at No.8, Wrightland, Addition;
Also, two places on Northwest 6th Street at No. 9 , Wrightland , Add.
The Salvation Army officers, were granted permission to place
small booths at 7th 8th & 9th Streets and Main Street, for solici-
ting during Holiday season.
Complaint was made of the stench arising from the Chauncey Dry
Cleaning plant on South "F" Street, between llth & 12th Street,
promise to take up the matter with Health Department.
The Police Department , were instructed to remove the alley traffic
signs placed- outside of congested district, and to place strips
back of signs erected.
The Water Works , were instructed not to lay their water mains in
West 5th Street until the Board of Works meeting to be had with
County Commissioners , as to what improvement is finally decided
on in this street .
Engineer, was directed to notify the Hiatt Construction Co. to
make proper repairs in South "B" Street between 5th & 6th Street ,
condition caused by said company laying sewer in this street.
The Clerk was directed to request D. C. kar. lan ene.nty Atty, and
Wm. Kelley Cit7 Attorney, to be present at the meeting to be held
in Commissioners office Saturday Nov. 18th, 1922, at 11 o' clock
A. M. by the Commissioners , Board of Public Works and HHailroad
authorities.
The Board then adjourned ,
