Monday November 6th, 1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday November
6th , 1922, at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board Messrs,
Land, McFall and Henley being present , the following proceedings
were had , to-'+it
Pursuant to request Mr. Higginbottom of the P.C .C.& St.1. -Ry.Co.
together wi th Division Engineer, appeared before the Board in re-
gard to their 8th Street crossing, promising the same would be
repaired in a few days .
The City Engineer reported the completion of Contract under Improve-
. ment Resolution No. 624-1922, for constructing cement roadway in
the alley 1st• south of Main Street , from South 21st to 22nd Street.
referred to Mr. Henley, for investigation & report:
A remonstrance against the widening of school Street under Declara-
tory Resolution No. 156-1921 , was received and fi.led.
Engineer was instructed to have the point at the junction of North
5th & "A" Streets and Fort-Wayne Avenue , taken out the width of
the sidewalk.
The matter of placing"Quiet Bone" signs at the hospital at 2.3rd &.
North "D" Street , as to whether it was the city' s place or the
hospital authprities place to have the signs made and placed was
referred to City Attorney.
The Bca rd ap proved the various payrolls to Nov 4, 1922.
The Board allowed claims to the amount of-$23,293.61 .
