Thursday November 2nd. , 1922.
The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana, met in-
regular session at the office of said Board Thursday November 2nd ,
1922, at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board Messrs , Land ,
McFail and Henley being present, the following proceedings were had,
to-tit : -
Permission was granted Wm. Shendler, to construct under private con-
tract a driveway at 325 North "A" Street , ( cut curb)

The Clerk was instructed to request Sup' t. Higginbottom of the P.C.
C .& St .1L.Ry.Co.to meet with them at their next meeting Monday A.M.
subject North 8th Street crossing.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the alley between South
10th & 11th Street from "B" to "C" Street , under Improvement Reso-
lution No. 622-1922. No one appearing or remonstrating . The Board
approved a final assessment roll confirming in all things the orig-
inal assessment roll as heretofore approved. And now direct the same
be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrancesm if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the alley between North 9th
& 10th Street. , by constructing a cement roadway from North "B" to
the alley let north of North "A" Street , under Improvement Resolu-
tion No. 628 -1922. No one appearing or remonstrating. The Board ap-
proved a final assessment roll confirming in all things the origi-
nal assessment roll as heretofore approved. And nor direct the same
be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance .
The Board meets to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the alley 1st north of Lain
Street, by constructing a cement roadway from North 12th to 13th St.
under Improvement Resolution No. 630-1922. No one appearing or remon-
strating. The Board approved a final asse ssment roll confirming in
all things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved. And •
now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of
Finance .
The Board meets to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons
primarily assessed on account of the improvement of the alley between
South 15th & 16th Street , by constructing a cement roadway from South
"A" Street to the 1st alley south of Main Street , under Improvement
Resolution No. 643-1922. No one appearing or remonstrating. The Board
approved a final assessment roll confirming in all things the origi -
nal assessment roll as heretofore approved. And now direct the same
be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance . I/
The Board granted the School Board permission to barricade North "B"
St. from 8th to 9th Street, Friday Nov. 3, during exercises of flag-
pole raising.
The Board then adjourned ,
