Monday October 20th , 1922.
The"Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana-, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday October
3Ot#, 1922,. at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board,
Messrs , Land , McFall and'Henley being- present , the following.
proceedings were had , to-wit : -
The Board directed the Clerk to advertise for bids for, the improve-
ment of Northwest 7th Street ; also Main Street , from the Peacock
Road to west corporation line, in so much of said improvement as is
to be made by the city under Improvement Resolution No.640-1922,
bids to be received Saturday November 25th, 1922, at 11 o'clock AM.
Also, Southwest 7th Street, from Main Street to the National Road
as provided for under Improvement Resolution No. 641-1922, bids to
be received at 11 o' clock AM. Saturday November 25th, 1922.
- A complaint was made in regard to grade of the alley being changed
between Northwest 6th & .7th Street running water onto the property
- of Clara E. Amen, by attorney D.C.Harlan, the matter was referred
to the City Civil Engineer for investigation and report.
A petition was presented by L. Salzarulo, requesting the grading of
the alley 1st north of North "G" Street and laying gravel on the
finished grade to a depth of 6 inches , from North 14th Street west
to the alley running north & south, taken under advisement .
- The matter of widening of School Street under Declaratory Resolutio]
No. 156-1921, as to the legality of same was referred to the City
Attorney. .
The Building Inspector was directed to issue permit to Temme, Meat
Market ,- to erect, a sign at South 8th .& "E" Street, the same to con-
form to the city ordinances governing the same.
Sup' t. , Hess, of the M.E.,L.& P.P. was authorized to have me.n go
into the 5000 X.W.Turbine , for invettiga'tio n and making necessary
repairs -
