Monday October 23rd, 1922.
The Board of Public Works of the City of ni chmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said •Board Monday October 23rd
1922, at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs ,
Land, McFall and Henley being present , • the following proceedings
were had , to-wit :
The City Engineer reported the completion of contract under Improve-
ment Resolution No. 633-1922, for the improvement of the 1st alley
south of North "A" Street, by constructing a cement roadway from
North 7th to 8th Street , referred to Mr. Henley for investigation.
The Board received thru the Mayor an invitation to the corner stone
laying of the Julia Test Junior High School building, from the
City Board. of Education, and same was accepted.
A communication was received from the City Planing Commission re-
questing the Board to accept the offer of the Jenkins Spring C o.
of the use of grounds on North 8th Street, for Play-ground purposes
the Engineer was directed to secure written agreement from the said
Spring Co. ,
The Board on motion increase the pay of Engineer John Eaton, from
$90.00 per month to $'100.00 per month , effective as of date of
October 15th , 1922.
Claims to the amount of 5+1321 ,089.95 were allowed.
