Monday- October 3rd, 1922 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the office of said. Board, Monday October 3rd,
1922, at 9 o' clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs , Land,
McFa_il and -Henley being present , the following proceedings were
had, •, to -wit : -

The Board met to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons primarily
assessed on account of the improvement of the alley between South
9th & 10th St . 'o cement roadway from South " " to " " `
y G I Street under
Improvement Resolution No. 631--1922, No one ac.pearing or remonstrat-
ing, the Board approved a Final assessment roll, confirming in. all
things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved. And
now directs the atsessment roll be transmitted forthwith to the
• Department of Finance .

The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily
- assessed on account of the construction of cement sidewalk on west
side of South 7th Street , from South "H" to "Jr' Street , under In-
provement Resolution No. 645-1922. No- one appearing. or remonstrating
the Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming the original
assessment roll as heretofore approted, and now direct the assessment
• roll be transmitted forthwith to the department of finance .
The Board u7o_n the report of Mr. Henley., accepted contracts complet--
ed .under Improvement Resolution No' s, 626 & 647-1922, for the con-
struction of cement curb & gutters on Pearl St. from 1st to 5th St ;
- and cement roadway in 1st alley south of Main from South 20th to 21st
- Street, and approved primary assessment rolls. for same .

Upon the recommendation of Mr. Henley, the Board directed the Finance
Department to pay to Daniel G. Burkhardt , Contractor. under. Improti'ernen
Resolution No. 600- & 605-1921 ,the 5% reserves respectively, 369 . 95
and 521 .011 .
- Richmond Beveridge Co. was granted permission to cut curb for drive--
way at 1211 Sheridan S t .
Sup' t Hess , was aL thorized to order 50 - 30 ' & 50 - 35' poles for
use of M.R. L.& P.P.
The Clerk was directed to notify the yVayne Works , to repair the st4
in North "G" Street between 15th & 16th Street at tracks running
into their Lumber yards.

The Board sign contract & agreement for the repairing of heating
• - system in City Building , with Chas. A. Tangemari.
The Board approved the various payrolls up to Oct 1st, 1922.
